Worsted Wool

Wool fabric is a woven cloth made of short or long staple wool yarn. The most popular type used for textiles is merino wool. Depending on the weave and weight, it can be sewn into jackets, pants, vests, and coats.

Wool is either a woolen or worsted fabric, which differs in texture: there are thick and fuzzy, smooth and soft, coarse and fine varieties.

Merino Wool

The merino is one of the world's most ancient breeds of sheep. And one of the toughest.

Merino wool fabric is often blended with other fibers to change the quality of the finished product, e.g. with silk, cotton, cashmere, alpaca, mohair, or linen. From casual wear to business suits and luxury garments, wool fabrics are the inherent part of contemporary fashion.
