This silk crepe de chine boasts a hypnotizing black-and-white print. About one third of the fabric is decorated with eyelet embroidery and cotton lace appliques, arranged in diagonal rows. Soft and textured, they provide a sweet tactile contrast to the smooth ground. Use this original crepe de chine for dresses and skirts to unveil the beauty of contrasting textures and patterns. We also have a similar design with floral appliques (53121).

Crepe de chine is a plain woven fabric created from high twist yarns. It has a soft, slightly rough texture and is either opaque or semi-opaque. Crepe de chine (from French ‘crepe of China’) has an amazing drape and is characterized by a matt sheen. This fabric is surprisingly durable.
Crepe de chines are often used for dresses and blouses, as well as skirts and other spring/summer apparel.
