Corded trim is the type of trim featuring a raised pattern outlined with soutache cord. Also known as Alençon lace or point d'Alençon, it is renowned for lush botanical patterns on a fine tulle. Much detailed, it has always been one of the most expensive lace types due to the complex manufacturing process, and is still regarded as a statement of luxury.

In our range, you can find lightweight and sheer trims with scallops and picot, legendary Lyon lace trims produced on the 19th century loom (one of the three remaining in the world these days).

Lace Trims
Lace trim is a strip of lace fabric that adorns your dress hem, décolleté, shoulders and sleeves adding feminine accents. At Tissura, it comes in various lace types, such as:
- chantilly,
- corded,
- guipure, and
- macrame
Essentially, the most common application of this embellishment is a bridal gown, however, it is also applied for the backside, bodice and straps. These trims can be used not only to a dress but also to skirts, jackets, trousers, bags and even shoes!
