This silk and viscose blend velvet features an exquisite botanical pattern in shades of green and lilac. The middle part is covered with velvet stripes in complementing colors. The velvet pile is thick and smooth, and it has this wonderful satiny sheen as it reflects the light. We love the contrast between the lustrous pile and the matt brown-tinted silk ground, which makes the colors stand out.
This French velvet fabric is sold by pattern, both on the roll and as separate pieces. You can use two or more patterns to create an eye-catching dress, or get one velvet piece with hemmed edges to wear as a shawl. Our velvet fabric is hand-dyed.
