This double layered fabric is a unique design by the Swiss innovator Jakob Schlaepfer. It is a high fashion matelasse with a silk ground, which resembles organza in many ways. Glossy, with a smooth hand, mind that it is completely opaque, which means it doesn’t require lining.
The ivory background is decorated with a delicate floral print in a variety of pastel tints. The fabric has a lustrous hologram finish and a beautiful sheen. Use it to fashion full skirts, designer jackets or ultramodern corsets – anything that can be sewn with a minimum of seams. Check out the other colorway as well (28375).
