This silk shantung taffeta boasts an off-white color. It is characterized by a fair amount of body and crisp, yet is slightly softer than your average silk taffeta. Made of pure silk, our cloth has a slubbed effect and is slightly sheeny. This fabric makes lovely folds and pleats and is most suitable for creating sculptured outfits and corset tops.
